Glycol Chiller For Brewery Process Cooling

The making of craft brewing is an amazing biochemical process. The malted barley is crushed and fed into a mash tun, then into lauter tun where water is added at fixed temperature. This mixture of crushed malt and water is called mash. After that, the mash is lautered and then transferred to a sterilized brew kettle, the the wort will be boiled, concentrated,  and add hops for flavor and aroma. So use a glycol water chillers to maintain stable temperature during the process is a best choose.

After boiling process, hop material and protein sediments are removed in the whirl pool process. Then the wort is cooled down to a temperature for fermentation, usually the fermentation will connect with a glycol water tank, then cooled by brewery glycol chillers which is internal with a plate heat exchanger.

Why the craft brewery will need glycol chillers?

Temperature control is critical to the processing of craft beer brewing. The mash process requires a high temperature to convert malt into sugar, and the mash need to be chilled down before fermentation. Also, low temperature is required during fermentation process, so this can be achieved by water chillers.

What glycol chillers can do for craft brewery?

TAICH glycol chiller systems are normally used for wort cooling, temperature control during fermentation, cooling vessels / tun, pre-packaging cooling and storage cooling, as well as other applications in fermented craft beverages.

We could like to customize the chillers design and cooling capacity according to your market need, OEM is acceptable.
